Essentials of Freight Forwarding is the second of three courses leading to the FIATA Diploma. This course will guide you through commercial documentation, regulatory compliance, export packaging, and the transportation of hazardous goods. Successful completion of both InternatTransportation & Trade and Essentials of Freight Forwarding will earn the CIFFA Certificate In International Freight Forwarding. The CIFFA Certificate is recognized in Canada by more than 300 logistics employers.

Essentials of Freight Forwarding (EFF) is the second the second of three courses leading to the FIATA Diploma. In this course, you will delve deeply into key aspects of international trade and logistics. You will learn to master commercial documentation, comply with regulatory standards, and navigate international payment systems. You will also discover how to optimize export packaging, manage warehousing, and insure cargo, all while applying essential security measures in transport. Additionally, you will be trained in handling dangerous goods, accurately calculating costs and quotes, and exploring innovative transport solutions, equipping you with comprehensive skills to excel in the field of international trade. A final mark of 70% is required to pass this course.
Successful completion of International Transportation & Trade and Essentials of Freight Forwarding earns the CIFFA Certificate in International Freight Forwarding.
